Programme for Maintenance Departments in hospitals
“Technology without Borders” is an international NGO, founded in Germany, engaged in projects in over eight countries. Mostly consisting of engineering students, we are a young, dynamic and highly motivated team who wants to help you to enhance the Maintenance Department in your hospital.
Aimed at improving the maintenance service in rural hospitals, we give trainings in electrical safety and maintenance procedure. The theoretical education is accompanied by practical work on your own medical devices. Our concept is very flexible and can be easily adapted to different situations according to the needs of your hospital. We offer a great variety of assistance connected to the Maintenance Department such as a general Maintenance procedure and we will try to improve the communication between maintenance department and the administration.
An example for our work is the St Martins Hospital in Agroyesum, Ghana, in 2015. We sent them a team for support and together we built a dental clinic. In case of that we gained a lot of experience in dental equipment which we would like to share with our partners.
Our mission doesn’t end with our departure. We are interested in building up sustainable cooperation. All our support sections will assist you with help and advice for at least three years.
