Saturday is the nepali Sunday
After getting up early to meet the welder at 7 and finish the roof before it rains the next days, we had cookies and hot water for breakfast on the roof with a wonderful view of the mountains. But the welder did not show up. Instead we went for a little hike up the mountain and discovered old temples that were destroyed by the earthquake in 2015. After breakfast or lunch – we haven’t figured out exactly what it is supposed to count as – we started to build the oven with the bricklayer and a helper. Meanwhile 3 other helpers were fighting all day long with the sand that was still lying on the road. Even after 30 bags, it is still not done. The sand seems to fill up by itself.
