Volunteering “Stifterpreis”
“Volunteering is international!”
The hard work has paid off! Our regional group was nominated and awarded for our project in Ecuador by the Städteregion Aachen’s price “Stifterpreis”. The price is remunerated an amount of 1500€. We have been invited to a well accomodated award presentation next to five other great NGOs. Our engagement for the regional groups project convinced the jury in the categroy “Gemeinsam engagiert” (dedicated together). Obviously, we are very proud of this achievement which provides us with an extra portion of fresh energy. This acknowledge motivates us even more in our cooperation with the villages people of El Cascajal to grant them free access to freshwater!Text: Paul Grünefeld
